ThE REVELATION

I was born and raised in South Africa/Soweto in a small township called Tladi on the first of September 1999. I was always an artist, always participating in poetry competitions and acting. My Dreams for an Artist career took a pause for school and because of the pressure of social norms regarding Art as a career. The Calling for Art became louder in high school hence the pursuit of my passion which is music became a need.

The name ThE REVELATION is an English translation of my first birth name, Ponatshego.

I designed my music to be a medium of expression, a way to have a voice, a way to understand my path, a way to be fully one with my spirituality and to reach those that might feel the same way hence ThE REVELATION can be classified as an an alter-ego away from this reality created to channel all my realms for Art. When you listen to ThE REVELATION, you should expect raw and theatrical expressions, a magnificent mix of my poetry, love for theatre and musical influences found in artists such as Guru, Tupac, DMX, Hymphatic Thabs and Linkin Park. ThE REVELATION is a movement of Transcendence.
